TURKISH SCHOOLS IN MECCA AND MEDINA ARE REOPENING

Due to a decision by the Saudi Arabian administration, Turkish schools operating in the capital Riyadh and other provinces were gradually closed by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
 
With Türkiye's diplomatic contacts and the Ministry of National Education's initiatives, some of the Turkish schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education operating in Saudi Arabia were reopened, while negotiations for the schools in Mecca and Medina were ongoing.
 
As a result of negotiations between the authorities of the two countries, a decision has been made to reopen the Turkish schools in Mecca and Medina for the 2024-2025 school year. Work has begun on student admissions and other related procedures.
